Empire: The Last Glow Beneath the Tower

Red Rain descends, and the Flower of Mana blooms in the depths of the wasteland.

It makes the dead rise, mutates beasts, awakens humanity, and turns countless survivors into prey for infected creatures.

Chen Zhuo, Black Prison inmate No. 037, was once the Iris Institute's most dangerous test subject. Treated as a vessel, a key, and a source of contamination, he was locked away in a lightless cage.

Until one day, the Black Prison shattered, and the gates of the old era loosened once more.

He awoke amid a pile of corpses and awakened Boundary-Breaking Black Flame.

This fire does not burn flesh and blood. It burns through shackles.

Mana roots, neural locks, voiceprint anchors, sealed gates, mech permissions, marks of fate... Anything that tries to drag people back into cages will be broken apart by the black flame.

The Empire wants to put him on trial, the Iris Institute wants to reclaim him, the Revolutionary Army wants to use him, and the Flower of Mana wants to devour him.

But Chen Zhuo believes in only one thing:

Survive.

Become stronger.

Burn through every door that tries to lock him up, one by one.

When the zombie horde surrounds the city, the floral register unfolds, old-era mechs awaken underground, and White Kite makes her move in person, the entire Northern Frontier will hear his name.

They say a caged bird should not fly.

Chen Zhuo raises his hand, wreathed in black flame, and says coldly:

“Then I'll burn the cage first.”
