My Lord, Love Is Wonderful, and the Flowers Bloom in Prosperity

Wang Yue & Jiu Yi.

He heard the King of the Underworld laugh hoarsely. “My good disciple, it's been a long time.”

Wang Yue frowned at the form of address and thought, “Disciple? Who wants to be the disciple of the person in front of me? With a face that wickedly beautiful, he should be pinned to the bed and thoroughly tormented. Anything less would be a waste of that gorgeous face and figure.”

In the eyes of everyone else, this man was Wang Yue's master and teacher. Wang Yue gazed at him with undisguised possessiveness.

Jiu Yi left Wang Yue a note. Wang Yue picked it up and saw one neatly written character: “You.”

He assumed his master hadn't had time to finish writing the rest, so he set the note down and weighed it in place with a paperweight.

In the middle of the night, he woke with a start. He picked up the note his master had written and examined it carefully, top to bottom. Only then did he realize that the message was “My heart holds you.”

The character “you” meant “I love you.”

It was his master's confession of love to him. The only one he ever made.
