Just in Time

Si Qingxuan, the eldest daughter of the Si family, meets Shi Yichuan, the young master of the Shi family. They have known each other since childhood, and their families are close friends. In everyone's eyes, they are childhood sweethearts. But after the young master of the Shi family went abroad to study, they rarely kept in touch, and their parents only met up from time to time. The person I love isn't you, either.” Yet she clutched an invitation in her hand, her heart aching. She had read it countless times; her tears had dried up, but the pain remained. On the invitation were the names of Shengze Century's CEO and a hugely popular actress...

Traces of tears still marked the woman's exquisite face. She recalled the man's cold words from a few days earlier, so unlike his former tenderness: “Qing'er, let's end this. We're not right for each other...” Pleading with him had been useless. The resentment in Si Qingxuan's heart froze at his icy gaze, and the hurt stayed with her. “Sir, I thought you cared about me...”
