From the Start, I Won Over Pan Jinlian, and Liu'er Ruled the Northern and Southern Song

After the Six-Eared Macaque was beaten to death at Mount Ling, he was reborn in Water Margin with Zhu Bajie's help, only to find himself as the bedridden Wu Dalang. With the poisoned wine about to pass his lips, he improvised and won Pan Jinlian over.

He later discovered that winning over the Star Spirits could restore his magical powers.

And the Star Spirits weren't limited to the 108 heroes of Water Margin!

The Six-Eared Macaque began collecting them all.

Before long, he became an immortal, dominated the Northern Song, subdued the Japanese pirates, and invaded Tianzhu. His formidable strength drew the displeasure of the Western gods... and sparked a war between the Chinese gods and the gods of all nations.
