A Heart Lost

Xu Zhiyu, cheerful and lively on the surface, meets Yang Che, who has lived in misery since childhood. Sharing similar experiences, the two come to understand each other and become a ray of light in one another’s world, beginning a journey of mutual healing.

“I’m sorry, A Che. I’m late. From now on, I’ll protect you, okay?”

Though Xu Zhiyu herself has lived in darkness since childhood, she still wants to protect Yang Che.

“A Yu, my A Yu. Why should my A Yu have to pay such a terrible price because of what you call a joke?”

After Xu Zhiyu dies, Yang Che takes her ashes to the sea they had always wanted to visit, then lies down in its waters to rest forever beside her.
