[Two strong leads] [Crime investigation] [Flirtatious male lead] [Love grows over time] [Ensemble cast] [Scheming]
Talkative human chatterbox male lead vs. quiet, aloof female lead
The first time Ruan Xin met Teng Jin, who had just taken over as captain of the Ren Zhujing Criminal Police Brigade, she kept her distance and did everything she could not to provoke him. But even the toughest woman can be worn down by a persistent man. He was not only smooth-talking, but kept flirting with her and testing her boundaries.
"Want to trade secrets, Captain Ruan?"
"Do you trust me, Teng Jin?"
In the face of a mystery riddled with thorns, the secrets he carried had already begun to come to light, bit by bit, over time. Dawn would start anew, and daybreak was near. Who was the source that had set everything in motion?
When he once again shouldered the burden and pressed on, he still gazed at her with the same sincerity and warmth. "Ruan Ruan, I trust you, and I love you even more."
For the first time, tears welled in her eyes. She fought to contain her emotions and snapped at him coldly, "You're insane! Teng Jin, you're insane..."
[Romance-focused, with the plot in a supporting role]
When the walls crumble and the towering buildings collapse, who is at the center of the chessboard, the devil or the angel?
Caught in a crisis, they never stop moving forward.
