In 2077, the “Xuan Network” blankets the cyberpunk metropolis of “Xinlin City.” On the surface, it is a neon-lit technological utopia; underground, however, Chinese folk horrors and Lovecraftian chaos surge. Since the “Spirit Network Convergence” a century ago, digital code and underworld talismans have become intertwined, electronic devices have turned into passageways between the living and the dead, software bugs have spawned “haunted domains,” and ancient spirits have become data ghosts. Humanity struggles between the torrents of code and the laws of life and death.
