[Supernatural invasion + spiritual qi revival + no golden finger + lighthearted jokes + no tragic deaths, mildly terrifying]
“There are no ghosts in this world. We have to believe in science.” Chu Xuan, who had just started a summer job as a security guard, tried to brainwash himself. But out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a white figure outside the window. “Huh? It’s already two in the morning. Why hasn’t that woman at the bus stop across the street gone home?”
Five years later, the Ghost King waved to his underling. “Humans have always been weak and easy prey. Go over there and kill him.”
But the little ghost stared at him in surprise, then stammered shyly, “Huh? M-me?”
Ten years later, the Ghost Kings called for help: “Something’s wrong, Ghost Emperor! We’re surrounded by a human!”
Chu Xuan strode through the crowd with his sword in hand. “So you’re the damn Ghost Emperor? You like invading the human world, do you? Fine. As they say, it’s only polite to return a visit. Today, I’ll conquer the entire Ghost Realm as a gift in return!”
Everyone stared in shock. “We agreed we’d all become ghost tamers. How come you can split open the gates of heaven with your sword?”
After this battle, the human world knew peace.
