The plot of this book is so exciting! The story takes place in Shaanxi, where the people live in poverty, and a tragic and bloody story occurred. I especially like the parts of the book that describe the environment, such as "A lonely moonlight in the sky, and the twinkling cold stars in the sky, covering the Jintai Temple on the Loess Plateau", which makes people feel immersed in the scene. Moreover, the author's portrayal of the characters is also very good, which made me full of emotions for the characters in the book. What a great book worth reading!
