This book records the loyal ministers and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country in the late Ming Dynasty. They stood up when the country was in danger. Although they knew that the road ahead was difficult and dangerous, they still held fast to their beliefs and would rather die than surrender. It reminds me of those friends around me who are fighting for their ideals and beliefs. Their persistence and courage are admirable. This book also made me understand that when facing difficulties and choices, we should strengthen our beliefs and not give up easily.
