This book feels very interesting! It records in detail the surnames and reasons for surrender of the Eight Banners Manchuria, which is very helpful for studying history and family genealogy. Ertai is really amazing, able to organize such complicated content so clearly. I think this book not only has academic value, but also allows me to understand Manchu culture better. If I could have his talent and patience, maybe I could achieve something in my own field!
How did a capable person collect it?
