Yu-Gi-Oh!: I Want to Start Struggling Right Now!

Huang Miao from the real world transmigrates to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! DM with a flashy OTK deck: Cyber Dragon.

He originally thought he could sweep through DM with this ridiculously powerful deck.

But after taking down Gurus, he finds himself facing increasingly ridiculous opponents.

Six Samurai warriors using Synchro Summon, and the vanilla duelist Jonouchi using Red-Eyes Fusion.

President Kaiba, with his complete Blue-Eyes White Dragon lineup.

They’re the same characters as before, but the cards are on a whole different level!

In a Battle City tournament on MAX+ difficulty, see how Huang Miao uses his invincible Cyber End Dragon to tear through the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!

(The story borrows the Battle City setting from Yu-Gi-Oh! DM, with every summoning method available from the start. Early on, it uses decks from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links; later, it will draw on decks from Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and the physical card game.

The protagonist will use the Cyber Dragon deck in its pure form at first, then add the Cyberdark archetype later.

Stay tuned!)

P.S. Readers have pointed out the bugs in the duels. I know about them, so I won’t fix them. I’d rather use the same amount of time to write a few more chapters.

There’s also been some debate over how certain effects are described. I ran into this a lot when writing Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfiction before. Sometimes it’s an oversight, and sometimes it’s for the sake of the story. I’ll try to avoid it going forward, but I can’t guarantee that I’ll always follow the anime or physical card game’s rules.

In the end, my goal is to write the duels I enjoy: over-the-top and full of passion. I may ignore some actual card effects.

If you’re okay with that, feel free to keep reading.
