A Crush with a Tangerine Flavor

When Xia Shenghe and Shen Shian met again, she was a college student volunteer pretending to work hard for extra credits, while he was a celebrated shooting athlete.

She still remembered their first meeting. He was the aloof older boy next door. Xia Shenghe had worked up the courage to speak to him, only to get a single reply: “Mm.”

The second time they met, she was a first-year high school student and he was a senior class representative. In her rebellious phase, Xia Shenghe thought Shen Shian was putting on an act and looked down on him.

Later, some things happened that left Xia Shenghe unsure how to be around him. After the college entrance exams, she applied to a university far away from him and cut off all contact.

Xia Shenghe thought the secret of her unrequited love should stay in her heart forever, where no one would ever find out.

But she didn't know that somewhere, unbeknownst to her, someone had been secretly in love with her for years.

“What does having a crush taste like?”

“Like oranges...”
