This is a translation and annotation work about "Laozi". The main content includes the original text, pinyin, annotations and translation of "Laozi". "Laozi" is an important traditional cultural classic. "Laozi", also known as "Tao Te Ching" and "Laozi Five Thousand Essays". There are a total of 81 chapters and more than 5,000 words, divided into two parts. Lao Tzu. Lao Tzu's surname is Li Ming'er, with the courtesy name Dan and Boyang, or his posthumous title Boyang. He was born in the Spring and Autumn Period. His birth and death dates are unknown, and his place of birth is often disputed. Laozi is the founder and main representative of the Taoist school, and is called "Laozi and Zhuangzi" together with Zhuangzi. Because "Laozi" was written a long time ago, more than 2,000 years ago, the language and wording are much different from today's. There are many rare characters, polyphonic characters, and polysemic characters. The rhetorical methods, language habits, and grammatical structures of the ancients are also different from those of today.
