Luotuo Xiangzi - Quick Reading
Xiangzi's fate was so rough that it made me feel heartbroken. I especially like the interaction between Xiangzi and Huniu in the book, it is very real. This reminds me of Yu Hua's "To Live", both of which describe the lives of people at the bottom of society. However, "Camel Xiangzi" focuses more on personal destiny, while "To Live" shows the suffering of that era more broadly. All in all, this is a book well worth reading and highly recommended!
