[Urban] [Mythology + Technology] [Multiple Planets] [Not a Power Fantasy]
The so-called gods are simply outsiders who create worlds and become gods by wielding ultimate power!
Have you ever read the Classic of Mountains and Seas?
It records the twelve thousand years of history in which humanity disappeared from Earth. When the last human emperor, Zhou, died at the Deer Terrace, the path to immortal cultivation came to an abrupt end.
The mountains and seas hold dreams; the years have no end.
It records countless wondrous creatures: Nüwa, with a human face and a serpent's body, who mended the heavens and saved the world, and molded humans from clay; the nine-tailed fox, described as, "On Qingqiu Mountain, there is a beast shaped like a fox, but with nine tails"; and Xiangliu, described as, "A minister of Gonggong, with nine heads and a serpent's body, who feeds on the Nine Lands."
To Wang Yile, the Classic of Mountains and Seas is not a gazetteer. It is more like a cookbook telling you where to find things to eat. For instance, it says that beyond the Eastern Sea lies a place called Qiongqiu, where a tree called Gusang grows. Eating its fruit is said to grant immortality.
Wang Yile does not believe in religion, but he believes there must be things in this world that humanity cannot yet understand, such as the "path to immortality."
As more and more alien technologies appear before humanity, people are driven to recover the lost civilization of those twelve thousand years.
There are no gods in this world. Those who create worlds and become gods are merely humans who have evolved to the utmost. If gods enslave humanity, humanity will slaughter the gods. This is the end of the gods!
(PS: The story is told mainly from the perspectives of the two protagonists, Wang Yile and Li Chenyu. The former connects Earth with the Primordial Continent, while the latter connects Earth with the Spacetime Continent.)
Hahahaha, no one rated it, comfort yourself
The writing is good, but there are too many plot arrangements. He seems to have written out all the arrangements at the same time. It is not recommended to skip reading because it will make your head dizzy.
