I Transmigrated Into Harry Potter, and All I Want Is to Study

The heroine's name, Cynthia Lilan (Cynthi.LiIan), is taken from the moon goddess in Greek mythology and the little lily, with the implied meaning of an unattainable dream girl. But that's not the point. I'm planning to make her beautiful (she'll look however you want her to look), powerful (an exceptional learner), and tragic (she spent her childhood in an orphanage, is covered in scars, and has emotional wounds). My personal additions could fill a mountain, and the characters are very out of character.

Here are my additions: She's afraid of mice and toads, mildly germophobic, socially anxious, deeply devoted to those she cares about, and sharp-tongued.

Her modern name is Nan Zhi. If transmigration is a deal-breaker for you, leave now!!!

It's okay if you can't put yourself in her shoes; you can still give it a try.

Cynthia Lilan & Severus Snape

Cynthia Lilan is a poor girl with no one to rely on in the orphanage, but what does that have to do with me, Nan Zhi? Hey! I'm just an utterly ordinary student. All I did was read a novel called Harry Potter on an utterly ordinary night, then wake up in a pitch-black room... Why? Why? Can someone tell me why?! (Weeps at the sky.) Now that I'm here, I have to study hard and stay away from the Golden Trio. If I can, I also want to fulfill one little wish: use magic to take care of everything in my daily life!

(Potions class) So this is the famous Professor Snape? He's really handsome (wipes drool). It's a shame he's had such a rough time, though. Maybe I should help the poor old bat (Snape) while I'm studying.

...Wait, something doesn't seem right. Why am I in his arms?!
