Also known as Agarwood: A Calamity of the Mortal World
A lotus enters the mortal world; agarwood remembers an old friend
Phoenix goddess Xing Wan × Celestial Emperor Ying Yuan (the composed and restrained Lord Ying Yuan)
Red-gold bird demon Wan Yue × Demon-hunting master Tang Zhou (the straightforward young master who openly declares his love)
“A devout believer will always yearn for the light.”, Ying Yuan
“But even a shooting star will fall one day.”, Xing Wan
“Do I look good?”, Wan Yue
“You look beautiful. I like it.”, Tang Zhou
The martial world is full of turmoil, yet the lotus in the tower remains pure. Those who seek the soul find their way home; every brushstroke is for love.
Dan Qing, young master of the Soul-Seeking Pavilion × Li Lianhua, the martial world's divine physician (sect leader of Sigu Men)
“I've finally found you.”, Dan Qing
“Miss, take a good look. I'm not the one you love. Don't mistake me for him.”, Li Lianhua
“Li Lianhua, you searched for him for ten years. How could I not have spent those same ten years searching for you?”, Dan Qing
“A Qing, we were never parted in life, only in death. This time, I won't leave your side for even half a step.”, Li Lianhua
(Here, in my version, Li Xiangyi has already cured the Bicha poison during the ten years he spent living incognito after changing his name to Li Lianhua. No one knows except the heroine.)
