After Killing Your Master, Remember to Finish the Job

Swept into the world of immortal cultivation overnight, Geng Sheng was taken in as a young disciple by the leader of Xuanyue Sect. She became the youngest junior sister in the sect’s 106th generation. Though she joined late, her cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds, and her swordsmanship was especially breathtaking.

Even at the Qi Refining stage, she could fight her way to the top of the tower and challenge the heavens with nothing but her sword. With that same sword, she could defeat Golden Core cultivators and protect the people of an entire region.

The world hailed her as a peerless cultivation prodigy and an unparalleled genius of swordsmanship.

Yet this very prodigy went on to murder her master and destroy her sect. She slaughtered all three thousand members, reaping lives without mercy like a scythe from hell. Then she destroyed both the Path of Rebirth and the Path of Immortal Cultivation, trapping the souls of everyone in the sect inside vessels, forever denied rebirth.

That night, blood flowed like a river through Xuanyue Sect. That night, one of the five great sects was erased from the continent.

She later slaughtered an entire village, leaving vengeful spirits that would not rest. Her cruelty was beyond compare. Cultivators across the continent cursed her, wishing they could tear her apart and devour her.

Her sect was destroyed, her master was killed, her Golden Core was cut out, and her spiritual roots were ruined. In a single day, she fell from the heights of greatness. Nearly all her cultivation was gone, and she could no longer raise the sword in her hand.

To take revenge, she had no choice but to hide her identity, leave her entire past behind, and bury herself in darkness.

Because the truth will always come to light, and as the sole survivor, she will bring the culprit to justice.
