"Li's Medical Review" is a comprehensive medical book written by Li Wenlai of the Qing Dynasty and published in the 35th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1696). The book consists of twelve volumes in total, including ten volumes of main text and two additional volumes. The book discusses the syndrome and treatment of various diseases in the internal, external, gynecological, pediatric, and facial features. Each disease is preceded by a medical theory, followed by a list of commonly used prescriptions, and finally the drug records in works such as "Compendium of Materia Medica" are sorted out. Volume 1 covers diseases of the head, face, mouth and nose, Volume 2 covers diseases of the mouth, tongue, teeth, and ears, Volume 3 covers miscellaneous diseases of various parts of the body, Volume 4 covers diseases of the spleen, stomach, and exogenous diseases, Volume 5 covers summer diseases, jaundice, and other diseases, Volume 6 covers miscellaneous diseases of the lungs, Volume 7 covers malaria, urinary and fecal diseases, and other diseases, Volume 8 covers various miscellaneous diseases of women, children, external organs, and bone injuries, as well as first aid prescriptions, and Volumes 9 and 10 are medical treatises. In addition, those with miscellaneous syndromes and typhoid fever were compiled into two volumes of "Continued Supplement", with a chapter on Sanjiao Mingmen at the end. This is based on the engraving of Yi'an Hall in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, and has been edited and annotated.

This "Li's Medical Review" is rich in content, covering internal, external, gynecological, pediatric and other diseases, and is very practical. I especially like the medical theory part, which has unique views and records of commonly used prescriptions and medicines, which I have benefited a lot from. It reminds me of the Huangdi Neijing, both classics of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, some of the ideas and methods in the book are similar to my entrepreneurial ideas. For example, they all require comprehensive consideration and attention to details. All in all, this is a good book worth recommending!
