A Cultivator from an Ancient Clan in the City

The family is in decline, its numbers dwindling.

Born when the Ye family was on the brink of ruin, the genius Ye Yun Zhou became its burdened hope for revival.

But who would have thought the central government would throw a wrench in the works, intent on erasing the Ye family from history altogether?

Hah! You puny central government, just watch Ye Yun Zhou turn the tables with a flick of his hand...

(Grows stronger gradually, with balanced power between both sides, a suitably paced and logical story. No mindless power fantasy.)
