The first edition was very popular among ancient Chinese medicine enthusiasts, so the errors in the book were corrected in the second edition, which is hardcover. The author of this book is the deputy chief physician of the First Affiliated Hospital of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital and has in-depth research on ancient Chinese medicine. He presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects and three provincial fund projects, and published one SCI article.

Incredibly, this book describes the obscure and difficult metaphysical knowledge in a way that ordinary people can understand. Even people who have not learned these abstract metaphysical knowledge can understand it. Except for a lot of professional academic knowledge that is really incomprehensible, it can basically understand the knowledge passed down from generation to generation in China. Our ancestors have observed the heaven and earth for generations, measured the heaven and earth, and applied the results on themselves. The knowledge here contains the painstaking efforts of the Chinese people throughout the ages. They all tell the story of China's unyielding spirit and scientific research spirit in facing the nature of the heaven and earth in ancient times. This book is really well written.
