“What? What’s that thing?”
The Straw Hat Pirates were sailing peacefully toward the Grand Line that day when Sanji suddenly cried out, making everyone look over.
Standing in the crow’s nest, Sanji peered through his binoculars and furrowed his brow.
A sailing ship glided gently across the water in the pleasant breeze. Under the sunlight, Sanji spotted something sparkling.
It was about the size of a small boat, floating among the waves.
He strained to make it out, but its glittering surface was painfully bright.
Propelled by the current, the object seemed to be slowly drifting toward the Going Merry.
“Hey, guys! Something’s floating this way... Is it a box?”
“A box? What kind of box?”
“Maybe it’s a treasure chest!”
“What? A treasure chest!”
At Sanji’s shout, the Straw Hat Pirates gathered on deck and stared at the mysterious box ahead of their ship.
Berries gleamed in Nami’s eyes, while Luffy and Usopp were thrilled by the prospect of adventure and romance. Zoro, who had been dozing, let out a huge yawn and looked at it through sleepy eyes.
Though its colors were unusual, Zoro recognized its shape and muttered in confusion,
“...That’s a coffin, isn’t it?”
“Huh, a coffin?!”
Everyone was shocked, staring at it without blinking.
It really was a coffin.
