This set of books is a history book specially written for teenagers by Zhao Lijian, a history teacher at Beijing No. 4 Middle School. It is suitable for senior elementary school students to junior middle school students aged 8 to 16 years old. The author uses historical textbooks as an outline and follows the timeline from China's early legendary era to the eve of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
