Empire and Golden Ages: The Eras of the Han, Tang, and Ming Before 1500 AD

This book is very good! Li Xiaopeng used the perspective of political economics and data analysis methods to reorganize China's two thousand years of imperial history, which gave me a deeper understanding of the prosperous ages of the Han, Tang, and Ming Dynasties. The author believes that the destruction of the imperial system and the establishment of new ones, the innovative setting of institutions, and the effective response to difficulties jointly created these prosperous times. This book also made me understand the importance of agriculture, which is the foundation for human beings to enter the civilized era. In short, this is a history book worth reading and recommended to you!

This book should be one of the most objective books on Tomato that studies the history of the Ming Dynasty and fairly evaluates the history of the Ming Dynasty. It has always been slandered by the Manchus and the old and the young. Many people write about the history of the Ming Dynasty, always wearing tinted glasses, and simply ignore the achievements and contributions of the Ming Dynasty. The faults or harms are constantly magnified, or even made out of thin air, resulting in the general public having too many misunderstandings about the Ming Dynasty and its history. This book can be regarded as a great rectification of the Ming Dynasty and its history!

Good, well written and easy to understand, but Regarding Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty, there are some problems with the eunuch Wang Zhi of the West Factory. Of course, I have no right to judge. Perhaps as the author said, people like Xuanzong and Wang Zhi of the Ming Dynasty killed the ancestors of the rulers of the Qing Dynasty, so they added some information when compiling the history of the Ming Dynasty. If you have time, read the original text of the history of the Ming Dynasty and think about it.

It's fair and objective, and it gives me a deeper understanding of history. Great book! Recommend
