In the distant fortieth millennium, there is only war in the galaxy.

M41.744. In the eastern reaches of the Ultima Segmentum, on the planet destined to go down in history, named Tyran, a mysterious man appeared.

A commissar holding a boltgun asked sternly, “Who are you? Where did you come from?”

“My name is Chu Yuan,” the man replied calmly. “I am the Machine God’s avatar, walking among mortals!”

As he spoke, he stopped hiding his presence. “Icarus! Deploy!”

When the Behemoth Hive Fleet arrived, it saw giant gun emplacements and missile towers packed so densely they covered the entire planet, and fell into deep thought.

Hey, what the hell? Where have you sent me?

Is this even the Tyran system?!

Who will win?

The endless horrors beyond the Milky Way, the swarms that devour star systems, the colossal shadows in the Warp, the personification of greedy dissolution…
