Yan Song has a sordid past. He doesn't trust women, and he no longer believes in love.
Lou Zhizhi only helped him out a little, yet somehow became his salvation.
Someone asked Yan Song, “Don't you hate that person and still can't forget them? How did you end up with this woman?”
Lou Zhizhi happened to be there to pick up the keys to her home. She heard Yan Song reply, “She made the first move. I... didn't lose anything, either.”
Lou Zhizhi walked over, slapped Yan Song, and left with a single parting remark.
Only later did Yan Song realize what he had lost.
I like these books by the author. Each character has a distinct personality and is very unique.
