A Spring Day in March

“Actually, I’ve been waiting for you all these years. It’s been quite a while, from the second year of middle school to the second year of my master’s program,” she said with a faintly bitter smile. “I’m sorry I kept you waiting. From now on, I’ll be the one waiting for you.” He affectionately pinched her cheek.

As teenagers, he liked her without realizing it, while she only realized her feelings later. When they reunited, he had someone else on his mind, and she had already waited eight years.

As they pursued their dreams, he made up for his regrets, and she reaped the fruits of her hard work.

A school transfer and ten years of youth passed them by; a missed college entrance exam left their youth full of regrets. Fortunately, they found each other again as they chased their dreams.
