Princess Consort Ning

The emperor arranged marriages for the Xu family’s three daughters, sending all of them into the imperial family: one became the Crown Princess, and the other two became princess consorts. But the three sisters had different personalities and talents, and each faced her own joys and sorrows after marriage. The youngest, Xu Yurou, began as an innocent, naive girl. After experiencing the ways of the world, she gradually grew through war and palace intrigues, ultimately falling in love with Prince Ning. From then on, the two remained devoted to each other through life and death.
