Perhaps it was all destined to happen. Maybe Yilanya and Severus's first meeting had been arranged by fate.
It was just like a fairy tale: a princess of noble birth encountered danger while out traveling, and a commoner rescued her. The princess fell in love at first sight with the commoner who had saved her. She loved him.
The handsome commoner had talent and ability, but no money. The class divide between him and the princess seemed to determine their future. So when he learned that the princess loved him, he felt both joy and sorrow. He distanced himself from her, thinking that this way she would stop falling in love with him.
But he never imagined that the princess would run away from home!
When the commoner returned home and saw the runaway princess, he realized he couldn't live without her, and neither could she live without him. They loved each other deeply and could never be parted.
The commoner wanted to give the princess the best life possible and prove himself to the king and queen. He began working day and night, something the princess and her parents naturally couldn't help but notice.
The king and queen had long known that the princess loved the commoner. They didn't object, and they valued his talent and ability. The queen secretly summoned the commoner and told him she could give him unlimited wealth and the highest title, on the condition that he never made the princess unhappy. After listening, the commoner refused the queen's help. He promised her, "I will use my own abilities to give the princess a happy life."
The commoner kept his word. He and his beloved spent their lives together, growing old side by side.
