Where the Long Wind Sleeps

A chaotic battle to stop an evil god from laying waste to the living left countless mighty beings dead. To turn everything around and change this outcome, the few remaining lone stars joined forces to create a grand time-and-space array. They turned back time and sent the mighty beings' final divine thoughts to various planes, where they could enter the cycle of reincarnation again and begin a new path of cultivation. (Not a romance; barring any surprises, the protagonist has no love interest.) (The first few dozen chapters take place in the mortal world, so feel free to skip them if you like.)
