[Also known as: After Transferring Schools, the Little Southern Potato Is Doted on by Everyone]

Little Southern Potato × Tall Northern Guy

Soft-spoken, sweet cartoonist × handsome, talented researcher

Sixteen-year-old Xu Nian transfers to Z City No. 1 High School because of her parents’ work. The girl is sweet and gentle, but takes a while to warm up to people. She expects to spend the remaining two years of high school alone. To her surprise, she finds a best friend who sticks by her every day, a boy who constantly banters with that friend, and someone who quietly looks out for her.

Xu Nian thinks high school like this seems pretty wonderful!

A little scene:

“Nian Nian, does your stomach hurt again? Give me your cup and I’ll make you some brown sugar water.” Tang Tang knows what’s going on as soon as she sees Xu Nian slumped over her desk.

“Thanks, Tang Tang, but you don’t have to.” Just then, Qi Dong walks into the classroom with a cup in his hand.

Tang Tang gets the picture.

Ah, I guess I just wasn’t quick enough!

Qi Dong gently sets the cup beside Xu Nian and bends down to ask softly, “Feeling any better? The water’s a little hot, so let it cool a bit before you drink.”

“Mm-hmm, I know. Thanks, Qi Dongdong. It’s a tiny bit better than before, but it still hurts a little.”

“You really are something!” Qi Dong can’t resist ruffling the girl’s hair. She’s still as mischievous as ever. She’s the only one who calls him Qi Dongdong.

Still, it sounds pretty nice coming from her.
