A Light in the Fog

Just after turning eighteen, Chen Lü is kidnapped by human traffickers and taken to a remote mountain village. On his wedding night, they discover that Chen Lü is a man, and he is sold again, this time to Xu Yang. Unlike the others here, Xu Yang doesn't touch Chen Lü. Instead, he secretly tries to help him escape. Later, Chen Lü realizes that he has developed strange feelings for Xu Yang. He begins to rely on him: when Xu Yang is gone, he feels empty, but when they meet, he gets flustered and tries to avoid him. Overwhelmed by these complicated emotions, he doesn't know what to do. Then, by a twist of fate, Chen Lü is rescued. Despite Chen Lü's objections, his mother secretly reports the case to the police. Xu Yang and Xu Yang's mother are arrested.

After receiving psychological counseling, Xu Yang goes to South Korea to train as an idol. Two years later, he returns as a moderately famous star, while Xu Yang is released from prison a year later.

One has a glorious reputation, the other is disgraced. Three years later, Xu Yang sees Chen Lü again on television. They gaze at each other from afar. Is forgetting each other their only choice?
