Now for our girl’s romance plotlines:
Ma Jiaqi, the emperor’s most trusted first-rank civil official. At first, he is utterly loyal and even says the female lead is improper. Later, all he can think about is how to cuckold the emperor.
Yan Haoxiang, the fake eunuch by the emperor’s side. The first time she meets him, he is a ragged little beggar. When they meet again, how has this kid become a eunuch? From the moment he first sees her, all he wants is to stay by her side. Before long, that’s no longer enough: he wants her for himself.
He Junlin, a rabbit spirit. Help! I accidentally rescued a little rabbit, so why is it clinging to me and refusing to leave?
Zhang Zhenyuan, the childhood friend and great general who holds the tiger tally. “Do you really have to go into the palace? Then I’ll just start a rebellion.”
Liu Yaowen, Hua Fei’s younger brother from the Murong family. At first, the two can’t stand each other and bicker whenever they meet, giving Hua Fei a headache. Later...
“Big sister, you kissed me, so you have to take responsibility for me. You left, and now my second sister won’t let me come home.”
