Stolen by the Rebel King on My Wedding Night

[Historical palace intrigue + strong heroine + win-back-the-wife arc + political scheming + fictional setting] Shen Shuran is the Duke’s only daughter. The moment she is born, someone predicts, “This little girl will overthrow a dynasty.” Years later. Shen Shuran and Yang Yuanhao, the Earl’s legitimate son, grow up together and fall in love. On their wedding night, the rebel king Yuwen Tao launches a coup and imprisons the ministers. He threatens Yang Yuanhao’s life to force Shen Shuran into the palace as his wife. Shen Shuran endures the humiliation and reluctantly agrees. Only after she is assaulted does she learn that Yang Yuanhao was executed that very day. She will avenge him with her own hands, and she will claim the throne for herself. Because she exists, women can become generals, princesses no longer have to be married off to foreign lands, and women can become emperors! (Note: The leads are not each other’s first. The heroine grows over the course of the story. The hero is powerful, but the heroine is even more so, and she isn’t a hopeless romantic. She is mistreated early on, but once she comes to her senses, she will stop at nothing to seize power and make the hero suffer.)
