On the third anniversary of their secret marriage, Shi Yi waits all night for Qin Jingchuan, only to receive a divorce agreement.
On the day they divorce, Shi Yi can’t stop throwing up. Eyes red, she asks him, “What if I’m pregnant?”
He replies expressionlessly, “It’s just a bastard. Get rid of it.”
He wants no bastard, and he wants no child of hers.
On his wedding day, she has a miscarriage in a car crash. The wedding car drives right past her pool of blood.
Clutching her stomach, she cries out in despair, “Save my baby.”
Shi Yi’s blood stains the joy of Qin Jingchuan’s wedding, and turns his deep-set eyes red as well.
Five years later.
Shi Yi passes Qin Jingchuan with her son and daughter at her side.
From then on, the proud, aloof Mr. Qin goes mad, chasing after Shi Yi day after day. “Honey, please, just look at me one more time.”
The two little ones behind him glare furiously. “Scumbag Dad, get in line.”
The novel is good and I give it five stars.
