Mo Xuangui, an "ordinary" first-year art student, happens to meet a "golden finger" who clings to him and asks him to help find his junior fellow apprentice.
When they first meet, Mo Xuangui keeps thinking that other people's golden fingers are godlike, while his own is useless at everything except eating. It can eat so, so much. What kind of golden finger is that? No, he has to help find the junior fellow apprentice quickly so the golden finger can leave.
Later, Mo Xuangui realizes that he can only spoil his own golden finger. Want to do something? I'll go with you. Want to eat something? I'll buy it for you. But how about we stop looking for that junior fellow apprentice?
