Redshift: The Ultimate End

[Red, long live the people, entirely fictional, no real-world parallels intended, original content, decisive leadership, Cthulhu Mythos elements, world revolution, no protagonist, science fiction, strange things descend upon the world, Soviet Union, Foundation-like organization, mild sanity loss, the site's first nationwide red-themed eldritch Cthulhu story.]

In this turbulent world, the collapse of the old order, the crash of the markets, the breach of the dam, the zombie hordes, and the cyberpunk frenzy all herald the end of an era of peace. Supernatural forces, bizarre creatures, dark magic, and the power of the gods intertwine, bringing humanity to its most desperate and extreme end.

Life becomes insignificant amid the chaos. Countless people lose hope every day beneath the shadow of global crises and supernatural horrors. Yet even in this abyss of despair, a current of resistance remains, and a group of people fight to rebuild order in the world.

Use tank treads to crush every reactionary force; use rocket flames to burn away every superstition and lead humanity to dream again. This story has no fixed protagonist. Everyone is the hero of their own story, and every thread weaves a legend of its own.

This is an ensemble narrative where everyone can find their place and every story deserves to be heard. Join us to witness the light of hope in this broken world. Fight together, rebuild together, and welcome a new era for all of us idealists.

(The many storylines serve a single, expansive world, making this a people-centered power fantasy told from the people's perspective.)

The writing style leans toward literary montage, and the point of view won't stay fixed on any one character.
