The content is good. This is my second time reading Narcissus. I think the author's writing is quite good. The villain is released quickly and the plot is not sloppy. Because of this, the fast pace of the plot is unavoidable and the chapters are a bit short, but it is to my liking. In fact, this is one of the relatively clean novels I have read.
