Crows: The Demon Among Us

On a street in Tokyo, several people lie on the ground, covered in blood and wounds. Two men stand among them, towering above the rest. A badly wounded man lies on the ground and tosses the dagger in his hand to the blond man standing beside him in a black cloak. His eyes vacant, he says: “Come on, Manjiro. Kill me!” The standing man's eyes narrow as he replies: “I won't kill anyone. Today, you...” But before he can finish, the man on the ground cuts him off. “If you kill me today, you can put an end to everything. You don't look like you're even an adult yet, so you'd only spend a few years in prison. But if you don't kill me… See that gasoline can over there? I brought it today to destroy the evidence. If you don't kill me, I'll pour that gasoline outside your house tonight… Maybe even inside your house, on you, on your father, on your mother… Hahahahahaha…” As the wounded man speaks, his expression grows more and more twisted, his voice more and more deranged. The man standing nearby looks increasingly troubled. He turns to look at the other members of his gang on the ground, all with their limbs broken and unable to move. He doesn't understand how they provoked this man, and the man seems to have some kind of mental problem… As the man called Manjiro hesitates, another man beside him steps forward and picks up the dagger. Looking down at the man on the ground, his gaze grows more and more murderous. Just as he makes up his mind and slowly raises his hand, a loud shout comes from the street corner. “Stop! Don't move! I'm Officer Murashita of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Put down your weapon at once! Get down on your knees with your hands on your head!”
