Fallen into Solitude

The Wanling Book, an ancient divine artifact, has always been coveted by the various factions of the martial world. The ambitious King of the Demon Valley slaughtered the entire Ye family in his quest to find the book. Only Ye Mingdie survived, left behind far from home. To avenge her family, Ye Mingdie joined Mount Fukang to study under a master. She vowed to root out evil and protect the weak, but others could not understand her. Along the way, she befriended righteous disciples such as Xiao Qi, Wen Qiu, Su Chenyang, and Chu Yueze, and together they defeated the King of the Demon Valley, who had brought chaos to the martial world.

After Gu Ruhan murdered the head of Fukang and framed Ye Mingdie, she became a target for everyone. By chance, Ye Mingdie uncovered the mystery of her birth and discovered that Feng Xuanyi, master of the Xuanxun Pavilion, was her brother. Xiao Qi killed Feng Xuanyi in the name of justice. After Feng Xuanyi’s death, Ye Mingdie took responsibility for protecting the Xuanxun Pavilion, becoming known to all as a demoness. She and Xiao Qi secretly fell in love, but their different sides and their respective duties gradually drove them apart.

The six great factions of the martial world, Mount Fukang, Mount Hua, Qingyou Gorge, Mount Shu, the Xuanxun Pavilion, and the Hewang Tower, ruled the land together, yet the other five factions regarded the Xuanxun Pavilion as a demonic sect. After the King of the Demon Valley was defeated, the five factions joined forces to attack the Xuanxun Pavilion. Ye Mingdie lost all her memories while trying to protect it, but still failed to save it. Xiao Qi took her, with her memories gone, back to Fukang, hoping they could live a quiet life. But things did not go as they wished. On the day Xiao Qi and Ye Mingdie were to be married, Gu Ruhan’s machinations restored Ye Mingdie’s memories, and she decided to rebuild the Xuanxun Pavilion...
