Stars Fall on the Snowy River

We carry glorious dreams, yet are imprisoned by ordinary reality. We sing of passionate love, yet are mired in the trials and sorrows of life. Night after night, we pour out our passions, only for our colorful dreams to be shattered by the morning light. Dear reader, whether you are a young man in the bloom of youth or a lost traveler who has weathered the world, let this nocturnal reverie awaken the full force of your emotions and the surging power of life. From Wangnan and Mulan, innocent village children, to Su Wangnan and Zhou Qiyan, who dazzled the world in the new millennium, this Yi brother and sister face one misfortune after another. Their faith is shattered and rebuilt time and again, while their words of love are torn up and rewritten.

Dear reader, remember: we will all lose, and we will all gain. We are the red roses beneath the spotlight, and the judges in the courtroom.

This work is dedicated to you, who bravely press on: leave your mark, cherish your friends, embrace love, and welcome the light.
