“Go to northern Myanmar. Find Nie Ren.”
Those were the last six words my father spoke before he died.
But where was northern Myanmar, and who was Nie Ren?
A single sentence spoken ten years ago
sealed the Lu family's fate, tying them to northern Myanmar.
Years later, the land of northern Myanmar lay beneath my feet.
But what about Nie Ren?
Before the sacred city of Laojie in northern Myanmar fell,
this place had been awash in luxury, with beauties everywhere.
But when the sacred city fell,
where were all those people who once swore they'd give their lives for love?
It's worth appreciating, and you can see that the author is very careful. It was read on the headlines that the author had been preparing for more than half a year, and even during the conflict in northern Myanmar, he even removed the shells. Thumbs up for such thoughtful authors. It's really good that it took me so long to read the book.
