Thinking of Jing Keeps Me Awake

Shen Simian finally takes that step and gets together with her friend's older brother, only for him to look down on her parents' jobs and her younger brother. In a fit of anger, she gets drunk late one night and unexpectedly spends the night with the one man she must not get involved with.

The first time Shen Simian sees him, she knows they come from different worlds. One is a heaven-blessed prodigy, high above the rest and dazzlingly brilliant; the other is a burden, living under someone else's roof with her mother, sensitive and insecure. Yet she is drawn to his dazzling light, like a drab moth fluttering toward a flame.

Huo Jingming was born into a large family governed by countless rules, yet he has always been free-spirited and unruly. He never imagined that an accident would lead him into the confines of marriage. But as time passes, he is endlessly grateful for that beautiful accident, because the walls of their home are filled with lovely lilacs.

A little scene: The always-proud young master Huo stands before everyone and admits, “It was me. The child she's carrying is mine.”

Shen Simian's hands tremble as she twists the hem of her clothes. When she looks up, she sees the group wearing expressions of mixed shock and disapproval. No one could have imagined that the so-called irresponsible scoundrel was the man standing beside her, much less that he would defy everyone's objections and marry her.

Their marriage was not expected to work, but together they build a life that bears a wonderful fruit.

Shen Simian: Huo Jingming, I've spent so many sleepless nights thinking of you, only to wake up and find you lying beside me. How am I supposed to handle a surprise like this?

A secret crush comes true from the heroine's perspective; a marriage-first, love-later romance from the hero's.
