Also known as Nightmare Era: It Begins When Monsters Knock on My Door
A key, a door, a host of heroes building a Great Wall.
A pang of sorrow, a pool of tears, a pen that writes of the suffering of all.
Have... you ever wondered if there might be another side to the world we live in every day, one that remains unknown to us?
In that world, the ecology is completely different from that of the ordinary world.
Despairing Grass releases black mist that drives people to suicide. Wailing Flowers cry out and imprison souls. Pain Trees drip blood and reveal anguished faces.
There are all kinds of Blight Beasts, formed from Blight energy and the emotions of people in the ordinary world, as well as Fallen Ones, formed from fragments of the souls of people who have endured extreme pain...
Black mist that lures people into depravity, monsters lurking within it, “Lighthouses” that purify the world, and Gatekeepers who protect the “Gates.”
Memories altered, perceptions obscured: what are they trying to hide?
The great calamity that is about to come, the impossible path to godhood: what are you all yearning for?
The beginning is a slow burn. The story gets going around chapter 30, so impatient readers can skip ahead. It won’t make much difference at first, though you might miss a few hints later on. Of course, if the author never gets that far, pretend I never said anything (◦˙▽˙◦)
It’s a partial System, and the protagonist isn’t the only one with one. The protagonist helps people but isn’t an idiot, and he doesn’t act mindlessly, because the author does have a bit of a brain. I also hope readers will be patient. Don’t start yelling the moment you see something you don’t like. If it’s not your thing, don’t read it. Of course, even if you curse out the author, I’m blind and won’t see it.
