The Transfer Student Was a Fake All Along

On March 22, a transfer student joined our class. He was handsome and tall, but a bit of a chuunibyou. On his first day at school, Jiang Man asked Yu Jin,

“Do you believe there’s a god who saves people in this world?”

“I’m more inclined to believe in Ultraman.”

“Ultraman... close enough. Ultraman saves the world, and I’m here to save you. Yu Jin, I’m your savior.”

The next day, rumors spread on the school forum that Yu Jin and the transfer student were dating. They even had a child together on the forum.

On March 21, Yu Jin’s birthday, in a small villa, Jiang Man finished singing a song and then forced Yu Jin to kill him. When he woke up again, all he saw was himself in a hospital gown, surrounded by nurses and doctors.

“So I was sick all along.” Jiang Man was fake. His school life was fake. Every beautiful thing was fake. It had all just been his fantasy. Only the bullying he had endured was real.

Later, Yu Jin was discharged from the hospital and put up a gravestone for Jiang Man in a place filled with gardenias.
