Synopsis

This was originally supposed to be called The Years I Spent as a Monk. But then I remembered that I had also spent some time as a Taoist, so I'll start my story as a feng shui master instead.

This is a book of insider secrets unlike anything ever written before.

When you or your family travel, have you ever come across a temple, or even a museum or memorial hall, where a master tries to enlighten you? They may be dressed as monks, Taoists, or lay practitioners. Do you want to know where they come from, or how they make their money behind the scenes?

Looking for Traditional, Straightforward Fortune-Telling Stories

The fortune-telling novels I've read lately have been frustrating. They call it divination, but it's basically like narrating a VR movie. So awkward. Are there any with a more aloof protagonist, ideally featuring divination verses and the I Ching?

Looking for a More Realistic Archaeology and Tomb-Raiding Novel

Nothing involving ancient mythical beasts, blood corpses, or other unrealistic stuff. I remember reading one that was something like The Heavenly Eye, mainly about using keys to unlock mechanisms and such.
