At first, people thought it was just an ordinary flu outbreak and a series of violent attacks. That was until large numbers of the dead suddenly rose again, ravenously devouring the living. Hospitals packed with patients were hit first. Chen Dongyang had no choice but to grab a weapon and fight his way through the carnage to survive.
As the infection spread and the virus mutated, grotesque creatures emerged. The military moved in, and a once-prosperous city instantly became a burning hellscape. Tanks roared, fighter jets thundered overhead, and the human army fought desperately against the oncoming tide of corpses.
On the road to escape, Chen Dongyang fought alongside Xia Yue, a girl he met by chance. They supported each other, and after surviving death together time and again, they had already begun to fall for one another. Amid the chaos, the international terrorist organization Black Skull seized its chance, intent on unleashing an even bloodier storm across China and the world.
Their companions fell one by one, and Chen and Xia were swept into a massive conspiracy. On one side stood the threat of the walking dead and monsters; on the other, the hideous depths of human nature, unrestrained by law. For the survivors, an even more terrible disaster was only just beginning.
It is indeed a truth-oriented novel. Although it partially exaggerates the characters' abilities, it does add a lot of interest. It is not as pure and refreshing as the systematic novel, but it is connected to real life and greatly increases the sense of immersion.
I haven't seen such high-quality apocalyptic writing in a long time 🙂
Very good. I have been reading novels for five years. This one ranks among the top five apocalyptic novels I have read. It is also the first first-person apocalyptic novel I have read seriously 👍👍👍👍
The author should actually explain that this is a parallel fictional world without any zombie culture or related movies and TV dramas such as The Walking Dead. Just like the beginning of Resident Evil, no one knows why the dead suddenly come back to life, and everyone is panicked.
I don't know why I wrote it so cruelly. How come the male protagonist is let down time and time again?
It's been a long time since I've seen a novel about zombies with superpowers. The plot is very exciting and the character descriptions are rich and detailed.
The writing is quite good. It took me a few hours to read it. I personally think it's okay.
Dongyang and Xiayue, I will always remember you.
It's great, why don't you keep writing? You can continue to consider writing. I have finished reading it. It is quite interesting, but not enough.
It's very well written, why don't you continue? 😢😢😫
