Star Dust's Road Home is a science fiction novel. In 2068, a nuclear explosion devastated Earth, completely destroying its ecosystem. Only a few regions retained their original natural state. Nuclear fallout contaminated the entire planet, and the governments of most countries were wiped out. The surviving villagers of Earth, led by the scientists at the Qingshan Academy of Sciences under super scientist Wang Chao, fought tenaciously against the environment's intense radiation. Twenty years later, in 2088, the second generation of humans born from the first wave of emigrants to Mars came of age. Known as "Martians," they were descendants of humans whose genes had been modified using the serum technology of Zhai Xuanxuan, one of the chosen ones.
