This book is very interesting! It reminds me of watching "Journey to the West" with my grandfather when I was a child. The monsters and gods in it are so magical. Now after reading this book, I realize that these magical creatures have their own symbolic meanings and are the embodiment of human imagination. As the book says, the symbolic language in bestiary collections reflects the process of human understanding of the world. I think this book can not only help us understand Western mythology, but also inspire our thinking. However, I kind of hate those monsters who always bully the weak, and I hope there won't be such people in real life!
